STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF FATEHPURA, BARAMULA RETURN WITH RICH EXPERIENCE

BARAMULLA: An Educational cum Motivational Tour was organised for  25 students and two Teachers of Baramulla from Baramulla to Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Dehradun and back  from 20 Feb to 05 Mar 2012 to enable them to bask in the glory of rich cultural legacy of our nation and its rapid strides towards modernization by Gunners of Dagger Artillery Brigade. 

The students felt it as a lifetime opportunity to visit various historical and religious places like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Rock garden, Humayun Tomb, Sukna Lake and Forest Research Institute.  The visit to Indian Military Academy (IMA) and 11 GRRC motivated the students to join the Army.  
 
Interactions with Senior Army Officials were unforgettable incidents for each and every members of the tour.  These interactions paved a way for the students to broaden their perspective and the outlook towards the Army.  The students were enthralled to listen to the experiences and the anecdotes shared by the officers.
 
After the successful completion of tour, the Students and teachers were received and felicitated by GOC, Dagger Division in a grand reception organised at Dagger Artillery Brigade Complex Baramulla on 05 Mar 2012.
 
While addressing the press, the GOC said that such tour would help in fostering brotherhood and creating awareness of our nations multi faced identity and added that after interacting with Students and Teachers of the tour, that such an opportunity comes only once in a life time and benefits should be derived by max number of people from Kashmir .
 
This tour will certainly go a long way in strengthening the ideas of integrity, cohesiveness and awareness among the people of this region, by giving them a glimpse of the prosperity and cultural heritage of our nation whenever they turn the leaflets of the album presented to them by GOC, Dagger Division in the memory of the tour.
