Pir Panjal Brigade organize Awami Sunwai program at Nambla

  • GoC Dagger Division meets people to heed their voice

URI: In order to reach out to people in frontier villages of Uri General Officer Commanding (GoC) Dagger Division Major General Bipin Rawat, addressed huge  public gathering in an interaction program organized by  Rustam Battalion of Pir Panjal Brigade at Nambla on Wednesday.

A large number of people which include Sarpanches, Numberdars, Police and other administrative officials participated in the interaction program aimed at to heed public problems and grievances at Nambla Uri.

The General also inaugurated a new bus stand in Bandi Market for the convenience of the local populace. While speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Rawat thanked the people of Uri tehsil of Pir Panjal Brigade for taking part in the function and applauded them for their continued co-operation. 

He also distributed gifts to village Numberdars and needy people present at the event. It could be clearly perceived during the informal interaction with the gathering that the local populace has hugely benefited from the ongoing Sadhbhavana activities bringing the AWAM closer to the national mainstream.
