ARMY ORGANISES MEDICAL CAMP AT DANGERPURA

DANGERPURA: A Medical Camp was organised by 13 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles at Dangerpura on 06 Feb 12 on a grand scale to ensure health and medical care for the civil population of Sumbal tehsil.  In addition to the med camp, 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) also conducted Ex-servicemen rally under the aegis of Zila Sainik Kalyan Board for the benefit of Ex-servicemen of Bandipora and surrounding areas. Problems of Ex-servicemen and related issues were discussed during this rally. 
 
A team of doctors attended to all health related complaints of the local populace in Sumbal tehsil.  The team of doctors included army doctors and civil doctors including a lady doctor.  A large number of patients including males, females and children derived benefits from the camp organised by the Indian Army.
 
Commander, 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles exhorted the locals to obtain maximum benefits from such medical camps organised by Army on regular intervals.  The camp was welcomed whole heartedly by the locals.  The unit organising the camp has been involved in large number of other welfare projects to help the locals, which in turn has earned a lot of Goodwill and appreciations from all.  The locals expressed their gratitude towards the Army for reaching out to the local populace.  This noble deed by Army further strengthens the bond between Awam and Jawan.
