ARMY DISTRIBUTES COMPUTER TO SCHOOL CHILDREN

RAJOURI: Army is making sincere efforts to supplement primary education by providing basic facilities to schools located in remote areas. Continuing its mission for improving educational facilities a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Romeo Force distributed four computers to Govt Middle School, Naika under Operation Sadbhavna. Earlier the school authorities had approached the Army to assist them  in setting up computer laboratory for their school.

Students were upbeat and delighted with this project and averred “it would go a long way in meeting the requirement of computer education and also serve as a medium of enhancing awareness. Mohd Rafi of class 8th while speaking to this media said that he was always envious watching the computer skills of city children on TV and now with the similar facilities at his school he shall explore and develop computer skills so that he is able to take up job in big IT Company.

Nasar Hussain, Numberdar the chief guest for the occasion, in his address to school staff, children and prominent persons present there told that proliferation of computer education amongst student is must to compete and survive in the current environment. He thanked the Army for contributing constructively towards meeting aspirations of local populace fulfilled which is connected to future of their children.

Shri Bushan Kumar, Principal, Govt Middle School, Naika expressed his gratitude for providing the school much needed helf which will go a long way in imparting computer education to the children.
