ARMY DISTRIBUTE BLANKETS TO PEOPLE IN SOPORE

SOPORE: Continuing with its resolve to help the local Awam in their hour of need, army distributed blankets to people of Gundbarat village, Sopore to help them sustain the biting cold weather.  

 

22 Rashtriya Rifles (PUNJAB) while interacting with people, received a request for warm clothing and blankets. Eight families who had congregated at the Madrassa in Gundbarat were distributed blankets in presence of the village elders and the Sarpanch. 

 

People have appreciated this goodwill gesture of the army. They remembered similar aids been provided by the unit in the past and hoped that army will continue with its goodwill in future as well. 

 

This small gesture will go a long way in bridging the gap and strengthening the bond between ‘Awam and Jawan’.
