Keri Battalion organises medical camp

RAJOURI: A Medical camp was organized at village Keri, Distt - Rajouri (J&K) from  02 Dec 2011 to 04 Dec 2011 under the aegis of Keri Battalion as a part of Operation Sadbhavana.  Nearly 800 people from neighbouring villages were benefited from the camp, which had the services of Medical Specialist, Physician, Surgeon, Gynaecologist, Paediatrician and Dentist. 

Besides free distribution of medicines to the locals, many utility stalls both military and civil had been put to give info about various type of bank loans, fixed deposit schemes, Insurance policies, employment counseling and also make a conscious effort to spread awareness about the education, professional courses including latest technology.  
 
Commander Bhimber Gali Brigade and Commanding Officer, Keri Battalion interacted with the local residents and asked them to make the best use of facilities available in the medical camp.  The efforts of Army in alleviating the hardships of the locals of these rural border areas were appreciated by everyone present at Keri.
